Cape Breton

This summer we have stayed close to home, exploring our new province of Nova Scotia. Continuing our summer tour, we drove up to Cape Breton from Halifax to spend a few days on this magical island. Our three day journey along the Cabot Trail was comprised of stunning vistas, scenic hikes, wonderful seafood (and beer), and adventures for adults and babies alike. We spent two nights in an oTentik in Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the third night in Margaree Forks. Although a short visit, this island certainly stole a piece of our hearts, and we can’t wait to return. Here are a few photographs from along the way.

  1. Great pics! Our country has so many gorgeous places to see for sure. I love the east coast! Not only beautiful but filled with beautiful souls as well!
