Victoria Falls has been on my travel bucket list for as long as I can remember. As a boy I recall seeing photos of the falls in all of their majestic glory and looking on with rapt wonder. Having already seen Niagara and Iguazu Falls firsthand, combined with my childhood dreams, I would be lying if I said that my expectations were not high. Arriving in the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, the falls tantalized our senses the first night, the roar of the water smashing more than 100m into the canyon below echoing for miles in each direction. The next morning we headed out and caught our first glimpse. Below is the visual documentation of what we saw. Suffice it to say my expectations were exceeded. Another one crossed off the bucket list.
