From the moment we touched down in Christchurch in late 2010 I fell in love with New Zealand. Immediately I was drawn towards comparisons to Canada, namely beautiful scenery and warm, friendly people. However, for as expansive as Canada is, the incredibly diverse landscapes New Zealand offers a mere few hours drive from one to the next need to be seen to believed. After an extensive tour of the South Island I was left ready for more, and cannot wait until the opportunity arises to return to this beautiful country.
